LCA Live on Stage, is our premier main stage performance and lecture series. It showcases both emerging and established artists in powerful, striking, and soul-stirring performances and talks at San Francisco State University. Live on Stage is the amalgamation of LCA Live's mission to create inclusive access to art and spaces that nourish the creative spirit of all.
SHENSON FOUNDATION JAZZ AND TACOS
Groove into every first Wednesday with LCA Live’s signature series, Jazz and Tacos, presented by The Shenson Foundation. Experience jazz performed by some of the best in the local SF Bay Area Jazz scene, alongside delicious tacos provided by Taqueria Girasol – all for free for the SF State Community!
Experience movies the way they are intended, on the big screen! Join LCA Live in transforming the McKenna Theatre into a cinematic experience. Gator Flixs, presented by The Shenson Foundation is our free monthly lunchtime movie screening series, showcasing a thoughtfully curated selection of films that highlight the unique and diverse world around us. After each screening, engage in a Q&A session with the filmmakers and gain a deeper understanding of the creative process behind the movies.

SHENSON FOUNDATION ART HAUS
Learn, create, and explore in the LCA Live Art Haus. With our unique lineup of local Bay Area teaching artists, you will dive into new and creative ways to engage with art, community, and the world around you. From learning record scratching and beat making, to making upcycled art and everything in-between – an exciting opportunity to create awaits you! Our classes are designed to be inclusive and accessible to all skill levels. Our teaching artists are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping you develop your skills. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to connect with other artists and creators in the local community.
