To purchase tickets to one of our upcoming shows, please visit us online or in person.

Our in-person hours for the 2023-2024 season are:
Wednesdays from 12-4pm
One hour before every ticketed event.
Our Box Office is located on campus at San Francisco State University in the Creative Arts Building, Room 129D in front of the McKenna Theatre.
You can also call us at (415)-388-1523 for assistance with ticketing questions.
We are reachable by phone on Monday-Wednesday and Fridays from 10-12pm and 1pm-4pm, and 1 hour before every ticketed event.

For children 3 and under, if they will be sitting in a guest's lap and do not require their own seat, they are free and do not require a ticket.
If your child is older than this range or needs their own seat, they will need a ticket.

For General Public:
Yes, our ticketing system requires every customer make an account. You will be prompted to login or make an account at checkout.
You can make an account at https://sfsu.universitytickets.com/
Locate the login button in the top right-hand corner of the webpage, click General Public, Then the link to register. If you already have an account, you can sign in here.
For SF State students, faculty, and staff:
You do not need to make an account.
To access your account, login with your SF State credentials (just as you would to access any other SF State website). Locate the login button in the top right-hand corner of the webpage. Choose the Student, Faculty and Staff login option and input your SF State credentials.
You will need to authenticate with Duo.

Parking can be found along the residential streets next to the Creative Arts Building.
Please be aware that some parking spaces are limited to 2 hour or 4 hour parking. Remember to check carefully for any parking meters & parking time limit signs nearby.
Parking Lot 20 & Lot 25:
General paid public, visitor/guest, student parking
Lot 20 is located on State Dr. and Lot 25 is located on Winston Dr.
Hours: Open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
Fee:
$6.25 for two hours.
$10.00 for the day (Daily permits expire at midnight)
$20.00 for two days (Daily permits expire at midnight)
$50 for five days (Daily permits expire at midnight)
Levels 4i Orange to 4n Orange and the roof level are restricted to staff and faculty between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Our major venues are in the Creative Arts Building at San Francisco State University, in between Marcus Hall and Paul J. Lenoard Library. The main entrance to this building is located on Holloway Ave.

Late seating will depend on the event.
If you arrive late for a performance for which you have purchased tickets, you may not be guaranteed entry. It is your responsibility to arrive at a performance in plenty of time before the advertised start time. No refunds will be granted for refusal of entry to a performance due to late arrival on the part of the customer.

1. Orders and bookings made through the SFSU website and Box Office – These are final, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable from the moment that the transaction is completed unless expressly stated otherwise in these terms and conditions. Completion is deemed to be once you have agreed to the terms and conditions and clicked to confirm your purchase. An email confirmation will be sent to the registered email address.
2. Cancellation or Postponement of Performance - The price of tickets will be refunded if we are unable to fulfill the order – for example, if a scheduled performance for which tickets are booked is canceled or is moved to a date and time you are unable to attend. In all circumstances, any booking fee is non-refundable. Tickets are sold subject to the management’s right to make any alteration to the advertised arrangements.
3. Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (as Amended) - The cooling-off period referred to in these regulations does not apply to tickets and leisure services as purchased through the Box Office. For the elimination of doubt, there is no cooling-off period for tickets purchased from SFSU and your booking is non-refundable and non-exchangeable from the moment you click to confirm your purchase (unless the performance changes date/times or other details are not in your favor).
4. Late entry – If you arrive late for a performance for which you have purchased tickets, you may not be guaranteed entry. It is your responsibility to arrive at a performance in plenty of time before the advertised start time. No refunds will be granted for refusal of entry to a performance due to late arrival on the part of the customer.
5. Food and drink – No food or drink may be consumed in any performance space.
6. Booking Fee - A service fee is applied to every ticket on an event-by-event basis.
7. Refusal of entry - SFSU reserves the right to exclude entry to any individual(s) to its performances or spaces if it deems appropriate, and no ticket refund will be given.
8. Confidentiality – We take every care to ensure the information provided to us by you is as safe and secure as is practical based on the nature of the transaction. However, every transaction is conducted at your own risk, and we will not be liable for any loss suffered by you except as caused directly by negligence on our part.
9. Marketing - By purchasing a ticket through the LCA Box Office, you understand that you will be added to the mailing list for LCA Live and fellow co-presenters. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking unsubscribe in the email or by emailing lcabox@sfsu.edu

Re-entry is not guaranteed and will depend on each performance. Check with us prior to the event by emailing us at lcabox@sfsu.edu or ask an usher for assistance at your event.

No food or drink may be consumed in any performance space unless stated in event description.

Currently, we only except credit or debit cards both through our online website and in person at our box office. We are cashless.

Yes, please send an email to lcabox@sfsu.edu with any accessibility or dietary requests and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Each of our venues has accessible seating.
McKenna Theatre is equip with an Assited Listening Device system, please email us to reserve a device for your event date or talk to an usher upon arriving at our theatre.

There are a few different ways to get a replacement ticket if you misplace yours.
Online:
Please sign into AudienceView here.
After signing in, click your name in the top right corner and a dropdown menu will appear.
Click on “Your Orders”
Here, you will see all your past orders.
Click on the order you need a new ticket for and you will be redirected to a page with buttons that allow to you to send yourself a mobile version of your ticket or download the PDF.
In Person:
Visit our Box Office during our open hours, Wednesday 12-1pm or starting 1 hour before your event to get a printed ticket or have our box office attendant send you a new e-ticket. Please have your ID ready to confirm your order.
You can also email us at lcabox@sfsu.edu to be sent a new digital ticket.

Per the San Francisco State University COVID-19 Policy:
Effective April 6, 2023, COVID-19 vaccinations are recommended as a safety measure to help prevent serious illness, but patrons will no longer be required to be fully vaccinated. Masks are not required at this time.
This policy is subject to change at any time.
Some rental groups may require vaccination or masks, so please check your event’s details on the ticketing page or email us for clarification.
